Mariano Pardo de Figueroa y de la Serna,fue un escritor cervantista y gastrónomo español,conocido como el Dr. Thebussem. También escribió sobre filatelia,tauromaquia etc.Escribía la palabra cartero con la abreviatura ¨Krtro¨haciendo gala a su buen humor y de sus embustes.Fue el primer cartero honorario de la historia del correo español. Autor del primer libro sobre filatélia a pesar de no ser un coleccionista de sellos.
