Rey de Noruega (1905-1957), nacido el 3 de agosto del año 1872, en el castillo danés de Charlottenlund, y muerto el 21 de septiembre del año 1957, en Oslo. Segundo hijo del rey de Dinamarca, Fernando VIII, su nombre original fue el de Carlos, que sustituyó por el de Haakon al subir al trono noruego.
