Cnosos o Cnoso fue la ciudad más importante de Creta durante la civilización minoica, que alcanzó su máximo esplendor en el segundo milenio a. C., siendo el complejo palacial más antiguo de Europa. Está situada a unos 5 km al sudeste de la actual ciudad de Heraclión y al oeste del río Kairatos.
