ashupatinath es el más antiguo templo hindú en Katmandú, situado a orillas del río Bagmati, en la parte oriental de Katmandú (capital de Nepal), en el cual se adoraba al Señor Pashupatinath, hasta que Nepal fue secularizado, fue incluido en la lista de Pratimonios Culturales de la Humanidad por la UNESCO.
