Georgi Ivanov (1940-XXXX), fue el primer astronauta de Bulgaria en el espacio. Fue miembro de la Asamblea Nacional de Bulgaria en 1990. Nacido en Lovech, Georgi Kakalov asistió a la fuerza aérea militar en la Escuela Dolna Mitropoliya.
