retrato de Bolívar por el Pintor Peruano José Gil de Castro (1785-1837). Retrato elaborado en el año 1825. Fue el retrato reconocido por el propio Bolívar como la mas fiel a su fisionomía, diciendo así: "A Ud. un retrato mío hecho en Lima con la mas grande exactitud y semejanza" - Códigos de Catálogos: Michel:VE1686 - Stamp Nummer:VE C940 yvert et Tellier:VE PA 898 - Stanley Gibbons:VE 1973
