Autor: Archibald MacNeal Willard (1836-1918), fue un pintor estadounidense que nació y creció en Bedford, Ohio. Era hijo de Samuel Willard, pastor de la Iglesia Bautista de Bedford. Willard se interesó por el arte desde que era un niño y, a menudo, garabateaba en graneros y otras estructuras en el hogar.
