Chester W.Nimitz (1885-1966)Almirante y Comandante en jefe estadounidense de las fuerzas armadas durante la 2ª guerra mundial. Siendo la primera autoridad de los submarinos de guerra y jefe de la armada en 1939. La casa paterna donde vivió con su madre es hoy un museo.
