- Patrimonio Mundial de la Humanidad en SENEGAL - Santuario Nacional de Aves de Djudj Situado en el delta del río Senegal, este parque es un humedal de 16.000 hectáreas formado por un gran lago rodeado de arroyos, charcas y aguas estancadas, que constituye un santuario vital, aunque frágil, para un millón y medio de aves de diversas especies: pelícano blanco, garza púrpura, espátula africana, cormorán y garza real, entre otras.
