Muhammad ibn Yūsuf o Sidi Mohammed ben Yúsef, más conocido como Mohammed V
(1909-1961). Mohammed V fue el sultán de Marruecos desde 1927 hasta 1953, y posteriormente entre 1955 y 1957, y luego rey desde 1957 hasta 1961. “El padre de la independencia”1 logró conciliar las fuerzas divididas del nacionalismo marroquí y ayudó a formar una unidad alrededor del trono.
