Rodrigo de Bastidas (1445-1527), fue un adelantado y conquistador español. Exploró el litoral atlántico colombiano, desde la península de La Guajira hasta el golfo de Urabá, el istmo de Panamá y el río Magdalena. Fue también el fundador de Santa Marta.
