Jacinto Verdaguer y Santaló (1845-1902),fue un sacerdote y poeta español que escribió su obra en lengua catalana, en cuya literatura influyó especialmente el obispo Torras i Bages que lo calificó de «Príncipe de los poetas catalanes».
