El Goethe-Schiller-Denkmal en Theaterplatz es el monumento más famoso de Weimar. Fue realizado por Ernst Rietschel entre 1852 y 1857 y está dedicado a Johan Wolfgang von Goethe (1749-1832) y Johann Christoph Friedrich von Schiller (1759-1805), los poetas más importantes de la literatura clásica alemana.
