Autor: Georges de La Tour (1593-1652), fue un pintor francés barroco. Fue un pintor famoso en vida, aunque cayó en el olvido hasta el siglo XX, cuando su obra fue redescubierta por varios investigadores, en especial el historiador del arte Hermann Voss.
