Fue el hogar del primer presidente de Israel, Chaim Weizmann, un distinguido académico, estadista y líder sionista. La casa fue diseñada por el arquitecto judío estadounidense Erich Mendelsohn en 1936 y terminada en 1937, siendo uno de los primeros edificios modernistas de la zona.
